Some of our past activities:
7th Lustrum 2025
In 2025 ITEM celebrated its 35th anniversary. With over 60 attendees we hosted a day full of activities throughout the city of Eindhoven, ending with a spectacular party!
Enversed
In the middle of 2025, we visited a VR Experience lab in Eindhoven. We experimented with new VR possibilities, played some games and ended the day with a drink!
Muzieum
A group of ITEM members visited the Muzieum in Nijmegen. This museum in Nijmegen lets you experience how it is to be blind or visually impaired. It was a very impressive experience for all. The day was closed off with a drink in Nijmegen.
SchoonSchip
We travelled to Amsterdam to do a guided tour of SchoonSchip, a floating neighbourhood that is designed and developed by the current inhabitants – ecologically and socially sustainable. After the tour, we had some time to catch up while enjoying a drink together.
Design Museum Den Bosch
This March, we did a museum tour of an exhibition of Design Museum Den Bosch; “Faster, better, more beautiful – the design of progress”, about design, art, nature and technology. Afterwards, we visited a craft beer café in Den Bosch to catch up and have some drinks.
Phood Farm
In July 2022, we visited Phood Farm in Eindhoven, where food is sustainably grown using aquaponics farming. We got a tour and explanation of the facilities, got to feed the fish, and ended with a food tasting and some drinks.
